The Arts

Jutaijutsu

Jutaijutsu is an enlightened art with a focus on self-development and survival in urban life. The combat theories and principles in Jutaijutsu make it easy for anyone, at any age, gender or physical ability, to take part in classes. The fundamentals of the art consists of easy to apply locks, simple strikes, effective pressure points, effortless grappling, and use of traditional and everyday items used as weapons. Jutaijutsu’s roots stem from the Ninja arts. The emphasis is on the importance of life skills which include life strategies, healing and meditation to enable the student to live an empowered life, in order for the student to achieve the state of Tatsujin (fully actualized self). Jutaijutsu does not train for tap outs. We are not a sport martial art. We are a reality based martial art. Come and see for your self what Jutaijutsu can offer you.

Combat Jujitsu

Jujitsu is a Japanese martial art consisting primarily of grappling techniques. The word itself means “art of softness” and focuses on using an opponent's energy against themselves. Jujitsu was developed in feudal Japan by the Samurai to disarm or overtake larger armed and unarmed opponents. Jujitsu is an effective reality based self-defence martial art and is often termed combat jujitsu. Our Combat jujitsu is a fusion of Yoshin Ryu jujitsu, Combat Aiki Jujutsu and Judo.

The Goals

To provide the student with the tools to navigate the tides of changing events, the strategies for not only steering clear of danger, but laying the plans to prosper. We do not study these arts to become the deadliest or most well known martial-artist. We study these Arts to improve and protect ourselves, and provide our family with security and peace of mind. We study these Arts to become healthy and happy. Wherever we are, the people around us are safer.
